Patrick Cavanaugh is Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Paramount. Cavanaugh is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of broad financial experience and currently has oversight of all financial aspects of Paramount’s domestic affiliate revenue and distribution. His responsibilities include contract negotiations, strategic planning, financial operations and budgeting/forecasting across CBS owned-and-operated and affiliated stations, Paramount’s portfolio of basic cable networks and Showtime. Prior to the merger of Viacom and CBS, Cavanaugh held similar responsibilities at CBS as Senior Vice President, Television Networks Distribution. Prior to joining CBS, Cavanaugh was Senior Vice President, Finance at Yankees Entertainment and Sports Network, the leading regional sports network in the country, where he was responsible for executing all finance, accounting and reporting activities. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the technology, information, communications and entertainment group of the assurance practice. Cavanaugh received his B.S., Accountancy and B.S.B.A., Management Information Systems from Villanova University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
