

Brad Shipley is Executive Vice President of Business Development & Operations, U.S. Distribution at Paramount. In his current position, Brad and his team are responsible for the negotiation of content distribution relationships, management of advanced advertising and measurement initiatives, as well as operations and delivery of Paramount’s content portfolio across multiple platforms (including MVPDs/vMVPDs, CBS Affiliates, Video On Demand, TV Everywhere, and other emerging distribution end-points). Additionally, Shipley is integrally involved with the distribution of Paramount+ and the management of Paramount’s business relationships with CBS Affiliate station owners, including the integration of local broadcast content into Paramount’s direct-to-consumer offerings. Shipley also serves on the senior staff for the Chairman & President of CBS Sports, advising on a variety of strategic and sports rights deals, operational issues, and all content distribution business.
Prior to Paramount, Shipley led content and strategic distribution deals at Fox’s Gemstar TV Guide and later at Lionsgate-CBS’ TV Guide/Pop. During that time, Shipley formed and executed distribution strategies across the media landscape, and negotiated deals with major U.S. distributors, including DirecTV, Time Warner, Charter, and Comcast. Prior to entering the media industry, Shipley served in strategic consulting and corporate finance roles at Arthur Andersen LLP and Intel Corporation. He received his degree in Finance and Marketing from New Mexico State University.
