What’s Your Madison? How Nature Heals in ‘The Madison’

This Earth Day, Paramount is building on the series’ core themes with a social impact campaign encouraging audiences to step outside, reconnect with what matters most, and protect the natural spaces that ground us all.

In The Madison, nature is more than just a backdrop. As the Clyburns move across two distinct worlds, trading their comfortable New York City lives for the beautiful wilds of Montana, the land emerges as a force that shapes identity, holds memory, and cultivates belonging.

As the family navigates grief and tense dynamics, the outdoors reflects their fractures and their healing, illustrating nature’s ability to move us from disconnection to reconnection

“Stacy’s Valley is a lot of golden wheat, and it reminds Preston of Stacy’s hair. And when he’s up there looking at the valley, the whole place reminds him, of course, of his wife.” Kurt Russell says of his character’s fondness for one of The Madison’s natural settings. “He wishes to his bone that she would just come once to experience it with him. When she does experience it, she totally understands what he was talking about, and she realizes what she means to him and combining it with what this place means to him, that it was a tremendous signature of love.”

What’s Your Madison?

At the heart of this campaign is a simple question: What’s your Madison?

Is it a trail you return to when you need clarity? A park where your family gathers? A landscape that reminds you who you are and where you come from? This Earth Day, Paramount is inviting viewers to reflect, share, and spark conversation about the natural places that shape their lives.
