UFC heads to Los Angeles on September 19, for the first time since its landmark media rights agreement with Paramount, bringing a championship rematch, a pivotal lightweight showdown and a packed night of action to Paramount+.

At Crypto.com Arena, reigning flyweight champion Joshua Van will put his title on the line against former champion Alexandre Pantoja in the main event of Crypto.com UFC 331: Van vs. Pantoja 2 Presented by Total Wireless. The event marks the first UFC fight in Los Angeles to stream live on Paramount+, while the card also features No. 2-ranked lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan against No. 7-ranked Mauricio Ruffy, with championship implications hanging over the co-main event.

Van and Pantoja Run It Back

One of the UFC roster’s fastest-rising stars, Van enters the Octagon looking to reinforce his place atop the 125-pound division. The 17-2 champion has built momentum with victories over Tatsuro Taira and Brandon Royval and now faces a familiar opponent as he looks to prove his first victory over Pantoja was no fluke.

For Pantoja, the rematch offers an opportunity to reclaim the championship and add another win in a career that has already secured his place in the UFC flyweight record book. The former champion holds the division records for most wins, finishes and submissions, with victories over contenders including Kai Kara-France, Kai Asakura and Royval.

Lightweight Contenders Collide

Tsarukyan enters UFC 331 riding a five-fight winning streak and looking to strengthen his case for a lightweight title. The No. 2-ranked contender has scored notable stoppage victories over Dan Hooker, Beneil Dariush and Joel Alvarez.

Standing in his way is Ruffy, one of the division’s most dangerous finishers, who recently defeated Michael Chandler at UFC Freedom 250. The Brazilian striker has earned 13 of his 14 professional victories by knockout and arrives in Los Angeles looking to turn the biggest opportunity of his career into a place among the lightweight division’s top contenders.

A Full Night of UFC Action

Beyond the main and co-main events, UFC 331 brings a deep card to Los Angeles.

No. 15-ranked featherweight Patricio Pitbull faces off against Dooho Choi, while undefeated light heavyweight Iwo Baraniewski puts his 9-0 record on the line against No. 14-ranked Alonzo Menifield. American Olympic Gold Medalist and fast-rising star Gable Steveson looks to remain unbeaten in the heavyweight division against Sean Sharaf, and No. 10-ranked bantamweight and fan favorite Marlon “Chito” Vera meets Charles Jourdain.

The card also features Tai Tuivasa against Robelis Despaigne; Edmen Shahbazyan against Brunno Ferreira; Giga Chikadze against Joanderson Brito; No. 12-ranked flyweight Casey O’Neill against No. 13-ranked Eduarda Moura; Ryan Gandra against Los Angeles' Ozzy Diaz; and Michael Aswell Jr. against Joosang Yoo.
