Paramount Launches Global Publishing Imprint to Expand Iconic Franchises and Deepen Original Storytelling

Paramount is expanding its storytelling beyond the screen with the launch of Paramount Global Publishing, a new publishing imprint focused on extending iconic franchises and developing original intellectual property.

The imprint, part of Paramount’s Products & Experiences division, will produce original and complementary publishing content inspired by the company’s portfolio of brands and deep library of IP, while also investing in new stories designed to become future franchises. Content will span print, digital and audio formats and reach audiences across age groups, from kids and families to adults.

 

“Stories that originate on the page have a unique power to build immersive worlds, create compelling characters and forge deeper connections with fans,” said Josh Silverman, President, Global Products & Experiences, Paramount. “With the launch of Paramount Global Publishing, we’re expanding the reach of our most beloved franchises while also introducing original stories to audiences around the world.”

Paramount will oversee the development and production of titles published under the Paramount Global Publishing banner. Sales and retail distribution will be handled by a partner to be announced at a later date. Alongside the new imprint, the company will continue its long‑standing licensing strategy with established publishers and distributors worldwide.

The launch of Paramount Global Publishing represents a strategic extension of Paramount’s global content ecosystem, offering new entry points for audiences and additional ways to engage with the company’s characters and stories.

Paramount Global Publishing will first debut in the United States and Canada, with plans to expand internationally in the future. The imprint will be led by Amy Jarashow, Head of Global Publishing, who reports to Silverman.
