The Harrigans are bloody back — and this time, the threats are coming from every direction.

MobLand returns globally to Paramount+ on September 18, reuniting Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren for a second season that puts the Harrigan family’s already volatile world under even greater pressure. With rivals circling, loyalties tested and tensions inside the family reaching new heights, the battle for their criminal empire is far from settled.

Produced in association with Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, MobLand stars Hardy as Harry da Souza, the street-smart and formidable fixer navigating the dangerous orbit of Conrad and Maeve Harrigan, played by Brosnan and Mirren.

The season opens with the Harrigans struggling to present a united front as rising rivals threaten their fractured empire. For Harry, keeping the family’s problems contained becomes increasingly difficult as internal tensions intensify. In a world where safety is temporary and power comes at a price, relationships that once seemed secure begin to fracture.

That mounting pressure plays out not only in the season’s larger power struggle, but in the increasingly charged encounters between its characters. Johnny Flynn, who joins the cast this season, points to a late-season scene with Hardy as one of the moments he is most proud of.

“There's a scene that's just me and Tom, me and Harry, a long scene in a pub, and we've both really suffered. It's like boxers in the fifteenth round kind of thing,” Flynn said. “And there was a rawness to it. And you see a side of Harry that you don't often see. He's more emotional than you have ever seen him, more angry. That's such a long scene with so many twists and turns. And it was really, really fun to do with just me and Tom.”
