The world of Avatar is expanding in a new way. Starting today, fans can step into the Four Nations and put their bending skills to the test with the worldwide launch of Avatar Legends™: The Fighting Game, a brand-new 1v1 fighter from Gameplay Group International and Paramount Games Studio, created in collaboration with Avatar Studios.

Set in the beloved worlds of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, Avatar Legends™: The Fighting Game combines fast-paced combat with strategic gameplay, giving players the chance to battle as fan-favorite characters whose fighting styles are rooted in traditional martial arts. Each character brings unique elemental abilities, tactical counters and cinematic finishers, creating an experience that is approachable for newcomers while offering the depth longtime fighting game fans expect.

The game also features an original Story Mode, fluid movement, responsive combat and robust online play, bringing the signature action and elemental bending of the Avatar universe to life through dynamic one-on-one battles.

The launch arrives during one of the biggest weeks of the year for fans of the Avatar franchise, with San Diego Comic-Con serving as the backdrop for a series of exclusive experiences celebrating both the game and the future of the franchise.

Fans will get to experience Avatar Legends™: The Fighting Game firsthand throughout the convention with a wide variety of activations, including:

• IGN Gaming Lounge, featuring 25 dedicated demo stations, daily tournaments and promotional giveaways
• The Paramount+ Lodge at Happy Does, where fans can play the game as part of the immersive fan experience celebrating Paramount+ favorites
• Nickelodeon Booth, where attendees can purchase a limited-edition BossLogic art print created exclusively for San Diego Comic-Con to commemorate the launch of Avatar Legends™: The Fighting Game
• Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender Hall H Panel, where the voice cast and creative team behind the upcoming Paramount+ film will discuss the making of the movie, what's next for the Avatar universe and share exclusive news about Avatar Legends™: The Fighting Game

Available now on PlayStation® 5, PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch, the game launches with full cross-play support from day one, allowing players across platforms to challenge one another as they master the elements.

A physical edition published by PM Studios will arrive later this year alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 version, with both Standard and Deluxe Editions available for collectors and fans.
