

Gerry Cardinale is a Managing Partner, and Chief Investment Officer for RedBird Capital Partners. At RedBird, he grew the company to manage $12 billion of equity on behalf of many of the world’s most iconic entrepreneurs, properties and brands across the sports, media and entertainment industries, notably including Skydance Media, Fenway Sports Group, and Yankees Entertainment & Sports (“YES”) Network. Under his guidance, the company also invested over $1.5 billion primarily across Insurance & Insurance Distribution and Asset & Wealth Management, notably including Aquarian, Constellation, and Arax.
Apart from Paramount, Gerry is also a Trustee of the Mount Sinai Health System in New York City and a Trustee of the US Rowing Foundation. His philanthropy has proudly supported institutions Harvard University, Phillips Academy Andover and the Rhodes Scholarships, as well as international economic development and women’s empowerment via non-profit Water.org.
Gerry received an Honors BA from Harvard University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and an M.Phil in Politics and Political Theory from Oxford University where he was a Rhodes Scholar.
