A Future "Web Redemption" Segment To Feature Nerd Convention Favorite And Internet Sensation Tron Guy

Web-savvy host Daniel Tosh is back to give the low down on downloads, stories and people making noise on the Internet. The first of six new episodes of COMEDY CENTRAL's weekly series "Tosh.0" debuts Thursday, October 8at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

"Tosh.0" features the razor sharp humor and biting commentary from comedian Daniel Tosh and delves into all aspects of the Internet from the absolutely absurd to the incredibly ingenious in this weekly, topical series. In addition, the series features viral clips of the week and original videos created by and starring well-known actors and comedians. Each episode features the segment "Web Redemption," which gives subjects of infamous viral videos (i.e. Afro Ninja and Miss Teen South Carolina 2007) a second chance to redeem themselves from the embarrassment with which they've become synonymous.

An upcoming "Web Redemption" segment will feature Tron Guy. In street clothes, Jay Maynard is just a pudgy, middle-aged computer programmer from Minnesota. But when Maynard pours himself into a frighteningly skin-tight unitard lined with glowing blue tubes, all of that changes and he becomes "Tron" Guy.
