COMEDY CENTRAL Mobile launched the first-ever Stephen Colbert iPhone application. The new ad supported application, "The WORD," based on popular segment from the Emmy and Peabody Award-Winning "The Colbert Report," gives fans every "WORD" video at their fingertips -- anywhere, anytime. When Stephen Colbert delivers "The WORD," it comes from his gut. Now fans can get it directly to their iPhones. The new application features every "The WORD" video segment from "The Colbert Report" listed either by date or alphabetically and can also be sorted by the most popular. There's even a "Surprise me!" function. Users can watch a different clip every day -- new clips are posted and featured every week.

COMEDY CENTRAL Mobile plans to release additional iPhone applications for "The Colbert Report," as well as its other hit shows. COMEDY CENTRAL Mobile's jokes.com application is available for $1.99 in the App Store.
