The Two-Hour Special Delivers Love, Peace and Soul in a Special Simulcast on both CENTRIC and BET

CENTRIC and BET will both premiere the CENTRIC PRESENTS: 2009 SOUL TRAIN AWARDS in a special simulcast on Sunday, November 29 at 9:00 PM*. Hosted by Academy Award nominated actors Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson, the return of the classic music awards show highlights R&B music's finest, and bridges the gap between the soulful sounds of yesterday, today and tomorrow.

The CENTRIC PRESENTS: 2009 SOUL TRAIN AWARDS special honors the longstanding careers and musical influences of legendary artists Chaka Khan and Charlie Wilson, acknowledges the phenomenal star power and showmanship of the late Michael Jackson with the special Entertainer of the Year Award, and is guaranteed to take viewers on a soul-stirring ride through Soul Train's most memorable moments.

The music special features evening filled with non-stop, soulful entertainment and thrilling performances by Keri Hilson, Robin Thicke, Erykah Badu, Ryan Leslie, Raheem DeVaughn featuring Ludacris, Fantasia, Mario featuring Sean Garrett, Chrisette Michele, and many more! With fun-filled skits, dance sequences and hilarious throwbacks to the infamous Soul Train scramble board and Soul Train line, the CENTRIC PRESENTS: 2009 SOUL TRAIN AWARDS special is a show people would not want to miss.
