Paramount Pictures Taps Veteran Executive Louise Kaufman To Run New York Publicity Office

HOLLYWOOD, CA (June 4, 2018) Paramount Pictures announced today that Louise Kaufman has been named Senior Vice President, New York Publicity for the studio. She will report to David Waldman, Paramount’s Executive Vice President for Domestic Publicity.

Her creativity, experience and dexterity working across a huge variety of films encompassing multiple genres, budgets and audiences will make her an invaluable member of our team. Not only does she have the institutional knowledge and creativity to execute on our initiatives, but she also brings with her a stellar reputation and strong industry-wide relationships, making her a truly multi-faceted leader.”

Kaufman arrives at Paramount from Twentieth Century Fox where she led that studio’s New York publicity team and was a driving force in the success of such hit campaigns as Deadpool, Deadpool 2, The Greatest Showman, Logan, The Post, The Fault in Our Stars, Hidden Figures, The Planet of the Apes franchise, the X-Men franchise, The Martian, Gone Girl and Life of Pi, among others.

Prior to her time at Fox, Kaufman was at Summit Entertainment where she worked on the immensely successful Twilight series as well as Academy Award Best Picture winner The Hurt Locker. This latest move marks Kaufman’s second stint at Paramount, where she previously worked for 18 years, leading the studio’s New York publicity team for 12 of those years, including on campaigns for the first three Mission: Impossible installments, Iron Man, and Kung Fu Panda.

Kaufman began her new role on June 1st.
