Paramount Pictures Promotes Kevin Suh To President, Themed Entertainment and Consumer Products

HOLLYWOOD, CA (June 3rd, 2019) Paramount Pictures announced today that Kevin Suh has been elevated to President of Themed Entertainment and Consumer Products for the studio. He reports to Andrew Gumpert, Paramount Pictures’ Chief Operating Officer.

In his role, Suh oversees Paramount’s Parks and Resorts division, which controls the licensing and development of Paramount-branded theme parks, hotels and resorts restaurants and retail businesses; Paramount Live Stage, which controls licensing and development of the studio’s stage plays, musicals and live events; and Paramount’s Consumer Products division, which controls licensing and development of products in all categories of merchandise, gaming, publishing and media.

Says Gumpert, “Kevin has been an invaluable part of the Paramount family for the past seven years, and continues to exhibit exemplary leadership and business development value as he pushes the divisions he oversees into greater and greater positions of growth.”

Recent projects that Suh has overseen in these areas include a recently-announced strategic partnership with Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment to bring a multibillion-dollar Paramount Pictures-branded theme park to South Korea. Additionally, Suh ran point on the deal for a Broadway stage adaptation of Mean Girls, which Paramount co-produced and garnered 12 Tony Award nominations, and runaway video game hit World War Z for Xbox, PlayStation and PC, which sold over 2 million copies in its first month of release.

Suh has been with Paramount Pictures since 2012. Prior to his current rule, Suh was Executive Vice President of Themed Entertainment and Consumer Products, where he grew operating income by over 400% in just three years across the Parks and Resorts and Live Stage divisions. Before that, Suh was Senior Vice President of Theatrical Distribution and Senior Vice President of Intellectual Property.
