Andrew Cripps
As President, Paramount Pictures International, Andrew Cripps is responsible for the marketing, distribution and operations of the company's global structure.
Since 1999, Cripps has served as President and Chief Operating Officer of United International Pictures (UIP), which distributes motion pictures for the Paramount Motion Picture Group and Universal Pictures in over 60 countries worldwide, either directly or through agencies.
Andrew joined UIP in 1986, as Executive Assistant to the General Manager, Japan. In 1988 he was promoted to Vice-President Sales, South East Asia, and soon took on additional responsibility for sales in Australasia, moving to London in 1990 to take on the role of Senior Vice-President, International Sales.
Born in Colombo, Sir Lanka, a British citizen, Andrew lived in Japan for 17 years and is fluent in written and spoken Japanese. He holds a BS in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA and an MBA in International Business from Georgia State University, Atlanta.
