TICKETS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE STAR TREK APP
HOLLYWOOD, CA (March 9, 2013) - Due to the overwhelming response to the “STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS” advance screenings in IMAX 3D on May 15th – two days ahead of the film’s official release – an additional showtime has been added at 11:00 p.m. at participating IMAX 3D locations across the U.S. and Canada.
The first round of tickets for the IMAX 3D screenings at 8:00 p.m., which were made available to the app’s users following a “STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS” big game TV spot on February 3rd, have begun to sell out in New York and Los Angeles. By adding a second showing at 11:00 p.m. on May 15th, Paramount Pictures is giving Star Trek fans another opportunity to see J.J. Abrams’ highly anticipated film in IMAX 3D before it opens everywhere May 17th.
