Chief Marketing Officer, Paramount Pictures

As Chief Marketing Officer for Paramount Pictures since 2011, Josh Greenstein oversees the creation and implementation of global marketing campaigns for the studio’s feature films throughout the theatrical and home media windows, including creative advertising, integrated and interactive marketing, media and market research.  He previously held the title of Co-President of Domestic Marketing with Megan Colligan.

Under the leadership of Greenstein, Paramount has enjoyed success with a wide range of films such as "FLIGHT," directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Denzel Washington, 2011’s $695 million global blockbuster “MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – GHOST PROTOCOL,” Paramount International’s top grossing R-rated comedy “THE DICTATOR,” “MADAGASCAR 3: EUROPE’S MOST WANTED,” on track to be DreamWorks Animation’s  most successful international title, the award-winning “HUGO,” Steven Spielberg’s “THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN,” the surprise horror hit film “THE DEVIL INSIDE” and the 3D re-release of James Cameron’s blockbuster epic “TITANIC.”

As Co-President, Greenstein, along with Colligan, oversaw the marketing of some of Paramount’s most successful films, including “CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER,”  “TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON,” “SUPER 8,”  “RANGO,” “TRUE GRIT,” “THE FIGHTER,” “JACKASS 3D,” “IRON MAN 2,” Martin Scorsese’s highest grossing film, “SHUTTER ISLAND,” “STAR TREK,” “G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA,” “TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN”,  “THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON,” the first three films in the “PARANORMAL ACTIVITY” franchise and DreamWorks Animation’s titles “KUNG FU PANDA 2,” “MONSTERS VS. ALIENS,” “HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON,” “SHREK FOREVER AFTER, “and “MADAGASCAR: ESCAPE 2 AFRICA.”

Prior to assuming the marketing post in 2008, Greenstein served as Executive Vice President of Creative Advertising, where he developed creative advertising campaigns for a number of successful releases, including  “TROPIC THUNDER,” “IRON MAN,” “CLOVERFIELD,” “WORLD TRADE CENTER,” “TRANSFORMERS,” “BLADES OF GLORY” and “NORBIT.”

Prior to joining Paramount in 2005, Greenstein served as Head of Marketing at Dimension Films. There, he oversaw campaigns for all of Dimension's feature films, including “SIN CITY,” “THE OTHERS,” “BAD SANTA,” “SCARY MOVIE” and the “SPY KIDS” franchises.

Greenstein has won numerous accolades for his work, including 19 Golden Trailer nominations and 12 wins for such films as “TRANSFORMERS,” “IRON MAN,” “IRON MAN 2,” “STAR TREK,” and “SHREK FOREVER AFTER;” and 28 Key Art nominations and 17 wins for films such as “BEE MOVIE,” “STAR TREK, “ “IRON MAN,” “TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN” and “TROPIC THUNDER.”
