On Friday, April 19, 2013, Paramount Pictures celebrated its eighteenth
year of giving back at Viacommunity Day, the company’s Viacom-wide annual day of community service. This year, more than 1,500 Paramount employees in nineteen countries joined together to make a difference in their communities by volunteering at local schools, parks, and nonprofit organizations across the globe.
In Los Angeles, more than 800 employees spent more than 4,000 hours serving at fifteen project sites across the city. From arts and crafts with Alzheimer’s patients to planting edible gardens for families affected by HIV/AIDS, volunteers took a day away from the office to help make a positive impact in the lives of others.
